Copy-Paste Editing with a Transition:

Step 1 to 5 are identical to those described in the previous tutorial: Copy and Paste Editiing

6) Select a Transition. QuickEditor lets you choose from more than 100 Transitions. Those Transitions are 2-source video effects that come bundled with QuickTime.

7) Insert the CLIP Selection in the MOVIE. Now that you have a CLIP Selection, and chosen where to insert it in the MOVIE, proceed with the editing by selecting the right command in the Edit Menu.

The CLIP Selection has now been inserted at the beginning of the MOVIE, with a Transition in between.
